Drove from New Norfolk (near Hobart) to Evandale (near Launceston) which took a couple of hours to have a look at the Penny Farthing Competition. It was quite a sight and the competitors were very serious. We missed seeing any spills but apparently there were a couple. Ages varied from the young to the way over the hill. We felt sorry for the ones that were in period costume as it was a very hot...for Tassie.

Harrison and William liked meeting up with their mates and getting their faces painted the best. I don't think they thought the bicycles were anything special.
